Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m 17 just trying to keep going and finish school with good grades so I can get scholarships. Education should be free but it costs an arm and a leg. I love the color yellow and my seasonal depression hates winter. Hopefully my big struggles are behind me.

What Inspires You Every day? : My ancestors, the sun, and the world around us. I just think that the world has preserved and has managed to bear life, it survived so many things and is so beautiful even after them. The same with my ancestors, they gave me life even though they’re no longer here.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “One summer night I fell asleep, hoping the world would be different when I woke. In the morning, when I opened my eyes, the world was the same.” I think that it wont change unless you try. Even if it doesn’t you tried and maybe you can change something else.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : To help people and make a change. Or just to be happy and learn more about the world, other people, and myself.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : It sucks as someone who had mental health issues before it was a bit overwhelming and got worse during the pandemic. It didnt help that society was having a moment and still is. I’m doing better now cuz I’m more adjusted to it. The show must go on.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Focus on yourself enough, its important to help others but it’s hard when you can’t even help yourself. Ask yourself, “If I were to die RIGHT NOW, would i have regrets? Would I be ok with it?” Make something for yourself or build on yourself.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Maybe. Some of it I dont even tell myself and i dont think I’m ready to tell it to myself or admit some things. I hope I will be able to and really accept myself someday. And that’s ok if you dont want to yet then just give yourself time. It takes time to heal.
