Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hello my name is Lucy, I am from Texas. I aspire to be an actress or be a drama/theatre teacher.
What Inspires You Every day? : Something that inspires me everyday is theatre and the people in it. Most of the people in theatre are so kind and caring. Every time that I have encountered a different theatre family I have always been welcomed with open arms.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Do not give advice or your opinions to others unless it is asked for. Don’t tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them. Do not make sexual advances without proper consent.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to be happy and have no regrets. I want to go to college and revolve my career around theatre.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : When the pandemic first started I was in a very sad dark place. I didn’t really have anyone I could talk to about the things going on in my life. I felt like I was alone. As the pandemic went on I started to realize that I didn’t need people in order to be happy but I wanted them. The pandemic helped me grow as a person, it helped me find myself, and it also helped me meet new people that I can now trust & rely on.
What is a message you would like to give others? : There is no point in regretting the things that you have said or done in life. All that matters is where you are now and where you can go from there. How can you make your life better despite the things you have done in the past?
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I am 17 years old and am still trying to figure out my life and what I really want out of it. It is very scary to know that in a year I will be an adult. Even though I’m scared I won’t give up, I’m still trying to live my best like & continue to learn new things about the world around me.
