Komal : I believe in being genuine and kind to others, even in a world where hate and impurity can be prevalent.

Tell about yourself?

Hey there! I’m Komal, a 24-year-old Pakistani living in Dubai. My lovely husband encouraged me to pursue digital marketing, which has been an exciting journey so far! When I’m not working, I run a food blog on Instagram called @thegrubville. Its not much but it’s honest day’s work. It’s a fun way to share my love for cooking with others. I also enjoy horror movies, video games & books!

What passions of yours are you currently working on building right now?

Being a part of the digital marketing field has been thrilling. It’s such a fun and dynamic field that lets me flex my creative muscles. Right now, I’m focused on learning every aspect of it and becoming an expert in the industry. And when I’m not at work, I’m working on growing my food blog, @thegrubville. Consistency is key, so I try to always keep my followers engaged with new content. It’s a busy life, but I’m loving every minute of it!

What are some goals that you have for yourself in the next few years?

Honestly, I live life as it comes. But if I had to look ahead, I’d say wherever I end up in 5 years, I know that my husband will be right by my side supporting and loving me. Him as a successful web developer and I as a digital marketing guru working together in a beautiful bustling city! That’s the dream, but it’s actually kind of thrilling not knowing where I’ll be in six months, let alone five years from now. The possibilities are endless, and I’m excited to see where life takes me.

What are some words of wisdom or positivity you live by everyday?

I believe in being genuine and kind to others, even in a world where hate and impurity can be prevalent. Some people mistake it for naivety, but I think it’s important to spread positivity and combat the negativity that exists. My dad instilled strong moral principles in me as I was growing up, and I intend on adhering to them.

What is a positive message you’d like to give to people in the world?

My advice would be to always be genuine in your intentions. People can smell intentions, trust me. Do your best, and everything else will fall into place. I promise. It’s also important that you enjoy your life because time will fly by in a blink of an eye, and before you know it, it will be gone. So, make the most of it, and make a positive impact while you’re at it.

What is an impact you’d like to make in our world if you could?

I hope to alleviate any pain and suffering that people may be experiencing. No matter how big or small the suffering may seem, it’s impactful to those going through it. I strongly believe that by making even the tiniest positive change in the world, we can make a significant effect in someone’s life. I believe that pain and suffering are inevitable parts of the human experience, whether they be physical, emotional, or mental. We can, however, respond by offering a helping hand to provide comfort and support to those in need.

    • Hi! Thank you!! 🙂
I think the fact that my food blog is still small & in its initial stage of growth helps me stay consistent with it since it’s not as demanding. I allocate majority of my time to personal & work life, and a fixed day or two to post content on my blog. Plus I treat it as a fun hobby! I only started the blog because I wanted to share what I cooked with my friends & family. It’s not a job for me, it’s a fun productive activity that I love to do. Do check my blog out @thegrubville!
      Hope this answers your question!
