Introduce yourself(tell about yourself & who you are)

I am Leonardo not just the namesake of da Vinci but because going by my middle name i can have more of a stage name so that my art, thoughts and sentiments speak for who i am. I am an artist that has been inactive for personal reasons that is still experimenting with what my own style really is but something of a abstract impressionist style is what I’ve been doing most recently.

What inspires you everyday to do what you do?

The pursuit, I’m trying to find that for myself. What keep me doing what i do is the understanding that no one else can do it. My feelings, my vision, my knowledge no one else has what i have or can convey it the way i do. I have people that need me that keep me going. My life goal that is to create something beautiful to convey my world in a way only i can.

What are some words of wisdom you live by everyday?

Do not dilute yourself for other people be authentic to who you are and whomever you become

What are some goals in life you’d like to complete?

I want to be more present in life. I want to travel and experience more of the world. Most importantly is to understand love.

What are some struggles you faced to be where you are now?

Struggles i go through have to me my mental journey. I have major depressive disorder and it has impacted my productivity in my artistic motivation. It’s been hard to create when you don’t think the outcome will be good enough, that keeps me from getting my name out there and selling all the painting I’ve made. I a drawer of paintings i haven’t even posted because i just feel so uncertain about them and even pursuing a career in art like i truly want.

What is one way you’d like to make an impact in the world?

I would want my vision to be my legacy. To see and acknowledge the wrong and ugly things in the world but still choose to express love and admire beauty. I do what i can for who i can because depression has taken me to some very dark places and if someone i cross paths with i can veer them away from whatever darkness they face.

Its not about me but it should be said love what you love
