Introduce yourself?: My name is Derek. I’m a sophomore in high school. I love sports, rap, and hanging with friends.

What inspires you everyday?: I’m inspired by trying to be the best person possible and wanting to accomplish my dreams. Also my friends and family.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: I would make everyone spread more peace, love, and positivity.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: Most are good and have good intentions but some are not great. We all need to work together to create peace and live together and be happy.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: I’ve struggled with depression for a long time and haven’t really gotten over it until recently. I cut a lot of drama out of my life and have become much happier.

What is a positive message you would give others?: Support everyone’s goals, and help them reach it. Treat everyone with respect and show love.

if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that?: I would let everyone hear my music and show them the way to support others and respect each other.
