Mbuso Nkosi: My advice would be that people should start loving themselves enough to a point.

Name: Mbuso Nkosi

Social Media Handle/Username: m.b.u.s.o

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is Mbuso Nkosi, also known as Bluepill.I’m a 21 year old Music Producer and Sound Engineer from Springs,South africa.

I started recording songs in 2018 and releasing them on Soundcloud,I’d get a good feedback from my friends and that stirred me up.I then decided to drop out of high school due to my performance and in 2019 I enrolled for a Sound Engineering course at Gauteng City College while pushing the music,my parents weren’t so happy with me following my heart.Me being a bit of an introvert,I did not tell them that it doesn’t sit me well that they don’t support me instead I started looking for ways to make some money in order to show them that I’m serious so I then started making and selling beats.

I learned more about music production and sound,it really caught my interest and I would make beats every single day. In 2020 I started selling beats and later I bought recording equipment, and I’ve been running a home studio ever since.
I became more of a producer than a rapper so I eventually stopped rapping and focused on developing my production skills.I still release music but I only feature artists to rap/sing on them, that’s a way I think I can bring myself out as a musician.

What Inspires You Every day? : Seeing my friends do well and always improving their lives
Discovering new music gives me the urge to try and expand my craft every day…I believe I have to expand my sound in order to increase my horizon.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “LET GO OF THINGS YOU CAN’T CONTROL AND CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN”

What is your ultimate goal in life? : Having well established brand that will inspire and impact people positively and creating opportunities for those want to learn and improve their lives

What are your thoughts on people who seek attention on social media, and what message would you like to give them? : It’s not really an ideal way to seek attention or validation on social media because it’s a world driven by competition, hate and opinion which can lead to people not feeling so good about themselves
My advice would be that people should start loving themselves enough to a point where motivation can come from within and in that way it won’t really matter how the outside world perceives us

How would you help people around the world who are going through mental health problems? : If I had the means I would open a platform for people dealing with mental health issues and I would ensure that it’s a safe space by privatizing the platform because some people are not comfortable with exposing their stories. This can allow people with similar issues to interact easier because it’s only them and there won’t be external forces influencing them except for people who have dealt with the same problems.

How would you describe a better world for us all? : For us to have a better world we need to go back to our values as human beings… Remembering that we are one,no matter what the system can do to separate us. A world that spreads more love than negative energy, promoting humanity also known as ‘UBUNTU’ in my language.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Growing up I made a lot of mistakes which helped me learn about myself, even though I did some bad stuff and got the results I just took that as lessons instead of beating myself up.
