Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I am William Guyton, running back for Livingstone College located in Salisbury, North Carolina. I’m an sports management major. I plan on playing professional football. After i retire, I plan to own my own Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation center.

What Inspires You Every day? : What inspires me everyday are the negative beliefs people had about me that were told me as a young teenager. I’ve always been told I was slow, short and had no ability to be a playmaker. This is what inspires me everyday to be the best I can be.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Some words of wisdom that I live by are perseverance and dedication. It is to my belief that no matter how tedious life may seem, being dedicated will help overcome any obstacle.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to be consistent in every activity I’m participating in.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : During the pandemic I’ve been great actually. The pandemic has gave me an easier way to get recruited for college. In high school I’ve always had a high GPA but I struggled with the SAT/ACT. When the pandemic came along test scores weren’t mandated for most schools. Which is also one of the reasons why I chose the school I’m at today. Additionally, with the pandemic going on it gave all athletes to play an additional year of college football if needed.

What is a message you would like to give others? : A message I would like to give others would be protect your peace, what ever makes you happy makes you happy and don’t let the negativity brought by others affect your happiness.
