Name: Bear

Social Media Handle/Username: YRMBear

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is YRM Bear and I am an artist from the DMV, more specifically the 757. I grew up in Norfolk most of my life, with a passion for music and always wanting to learn more about it.

Music is like therapy to me, when i don’t know what to do, i usually just write some lyrics or listen to different songs until i eventually feel better.

What Inspires You Every day? : My inspiration is those closest to me.
I don’t think there’s just one thing that inspires me , i think sometimes it happens naturally.
For example, sometimes I’ll hear a really good beat and it gets me in the mood to make a song.
I’ve had to learn that even when it doesn’t seem like you don’t have a lot of time , any amount of time is better than nothing.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Master your energy.
Love and believe in who you are with no limitations.
Perceptive is everything.
Don’t be blinded by arrogance or ignorance, instead seek peace and happiness.
Life is a race.
Never stop grinding.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : I have many goals relating to success, but my ultimate goal is making music my full time career, so then I may have a family and give them the best life they can imagine.

Life is not easy, it’s full of hardships but what’s important is when we realize what are true purpose is and disregard the opinion of others.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The pandemic made it very hard to find a job and also forced me to not see a lot of my close friends but besides that it has been alright.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Find yourself. Define Yourself for who you want to be, not someone else.

Don’t worry about the statements of others, because what makes you happy isn’t going to please everyone. However as long as you’re not hurting anyone you should continue to live the life you want.

Peace isn’t found without conflict, everyday is a constant battle – but being prepared for challenges and being optimistic can severely change the outcome of those “challenges.”

Be who you are.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Im extremely thankful for the people who have read this/ supported me at any level.

One day, i aspire to help many others through charity and kindness.

Lastly, make the most of what you have, even if it isn’t a lot. Be grateful, it could always be worse!

Have a good day and Peace!
