Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hi, my name is Natalie. I don’t want to write my entire life story here so what I will say is that I’m in a place in my life now where I want to step out of my comfort zones and tap into my creative side more. I can be introverted around strangers but extroverted around those I know. So I guess I’m an ambivert? I love connecting with people through their personal life stories and I like sharing aspects of mine so others can connect with me as well and that is why I decided to participate in this movement and am happy to do so.
What Inspires You Every day? : Life. I have a life to live and things I have to do and want to do so I get up and do them.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Bad times don’t last forever. I’ve gotten through some tough times more than once and that thought kept me going. With downs, come ups.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to retire before 55, LOL. Ok that’s not really my ULTIMATE goal (although it would be nice). My ultimate goal is to have a job/career that doesn’t feel like work and to be married and have a family.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’ve surprisingly been fairly well during the pandemic and I am very thankful that I’ve had a more positive experience because I know a lot of others have not had that. It’s wild because the pandemic came right at a time where I felt like I was going to implode so being able to be home for over a year gave me the long recharge I needed. Thankfully I was able to keep my job and keep working. Also, I was missing some social interaction so that drove me to try online dating which forced me out of my comfort zone, allowed me to form some cool connections, and learn a lot about myself and relationships. I would also say that my familial ties and friendships were strengthened during this time because we actually had to communicate more honestly and were more present because there were no other distractions.
What is a message you would like to give others? : Please have compassion for others and be kind. That sounds so easy but by the looks of social media that seems hard as hell for people to do these days which is unfortunate. A kind gesture, kind words, and being genuinely understanding and caring about people can go a looooong way.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I think I’ve said enough…for now lol.
