Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hello, I am a 19-year-old baby Drag Queen from Niagara Falls, New York. I’ve been traveling the world with my family since I was 15. I’ve been to Panama, Colombia, Mexico(3x) Nicaragua, Spain, and Portugal. While travelling my parents started a youtube channel/ Facebook group/ Instagram page for Black ex-pats and documenting our travels called the Blacugees.
I decided to become a Drag Queen in Colombia, going through many different characters such as Celine Si Bon and Gen Si Bon before I landed on Gendro1d. She’s an android supermodel with a virus in her system.
I’m still workshopping my look, but once I have it down, I’m gonna shock the girls! My aesthetic is a mix of cute robot magical girl and cyberpunk Terminator. I’m working out the kinks, but I know I’ll find my face soon enough.
I’m also writing a book about superheroes. I made an effort to include groups of people who rarely get any representation in the media. It’s tough and involves a lot of research into different cultures, but I’m passionate about it.
What Inspires You Every day? : My wide imagination. Every day I make a new story in my mind or a new concept that I wanna create. Sometimes it’s hard for me to focus on one project when I have so much I want to accomplish! My other inspirations are Eartha Kitt, Billie Holiday, and Ella Fitzgerald. Powerful Black women who I strive to be like every day.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “I am learning all the time. The tombstone will be my diploma.”- Eartha Kitt.
“Homosexuality is something you’re born with. Like red hair or a dead twin. It’s not something you can just wish away.” – Foxxy Love.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : To become a superstar. To entertain anyone who will watch. To finish writing my book. However, my ultimate goal is to be happy and find someone to make happy.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : This panoramic has been CRAZY, girl. When it first started my family moved to Florida. But, then the lockdown happened and we got stuck. Then, money began getting tight so I took the funds I got from unemployment and my savings and flew down to Mexico. I’ve been working hard from home to maintain my life down here.
While in Mexico I moved out with some old friends I met my last time in Mexico. I started a poly relationship with one of them. I discovered how expensive moving out can be and after a series of unfortunate events, I moved back to my parents. I’ve done what felt like three years’ worth of life experience in one year.
What is a message you would like to give others? : Be better people. Be kind to others. Take time to research before you speak. Give compassion to those with addictions. RESPECT BLACK WOMEN PERIOD, NO MATTER WHAT FORM THEY COME IN. And wear your goddamn mask.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Make-up is freakin hard bro! Tip your performers because they deserve it! My cash app is $CelineSiBon if you want to help me buy some wigs and shoes.
