Kylie Mcnichols
Tell us a little about you(your background and how was it like)?
I was born on June 25, 2005 to two amazing parents, and I was raised in a farm house. I lived there for quite a few years until my parents split. Now, I live with my mother in a beautiful apartment.
What are the bad things you see on social media?
Social media shows lots of beautiful models with perfect proportions that aren’t realistic for everyday people. This causes adolescents to feel like they aren’t good enough, and it can even cause eating disorders. Photoshop is used more often than not to make a perfect body on models, and I think that all teens should know that Photoshop is almost always used in photos they see online.
What are the hardships you go through?
Everyone goes through hardships in life, and I have my fair share of them. I suffer from severe social anxiety, and that makes it very hard for me to have friends and maintain relationships. That anxiety actually got the best of me, and I did cyber school last school year.
What are your goals in life?
I plan to really study and work hard in high school, then go to college. I also have the intention to go the med school and become a doctor. I’m aware that my goals seem unattainable, but it’s worth a shot.
What would you do if you could change the world?
If I could change the world, I would try my very hardest to make it a better place. First, I would stage in intervention for everyone addicted to any drugs or substances. I would also make sure that every person that can’t afford the cost of bills/food can stop worrying. They would have a local place for people like themselves where they can eat, and get help with bills. Another thing I would do is just make sure that everyone struggling with a mental health issue knows that they are not alone. They would know that there are many others like them.
Are you happy in the position you are now in life?
I am grateful and happy that I have a family that cares about me and loves me. I am also really glad that I got accepted into a vocational high school so I can begin to study medicine early. Overall, I would say that I am very happy with my current position in life.
What questions would you like me to make next for the new interviees coming to the website?
What are your past achievements in life? What is something that you are very passionate about and why?
