Zoe want to start an organization that helps provide money and supplies to underfunded and underprivileged schools, Read Story!

Introduction

Okay, well hi I’m Zoe! I’m a senior in college studying Early Childhood Education & Special Education at Towson University. On top of being a full time student, I hold an E-board position in the Educators Rising club chapter at my school and I work two jobs. Whenever people ask where I’m from I say I’m from everywhere because I grew up a military kid, but I generally consider myself from Maryland because I’ve lived here the most

What inspires you to do what you?

top brands, chargers, cables, and devices

I’ve always had a love and a passion for working with kids and especially the special needs community. My little brother has autism so that’s kind what introduced me to the community as a whole. I’ve always been a person who loves to help others and I want to be a strong advocate for people of all abilities and walks of life. I chose education because it allows me to have the impact, relationship, and foundation I feel you need to truly be able to make a difference early on.

What is a positive message you would like to give others?

In this world we all have a part to play whether you think it’s large or small, but without a doubt, your part is important. So, always be your truest and fullest self because without your unique spark, the world would shine a little less bright.

What is the best thing that has ever happened to you in life?

Getting to travel and see so many places and meet so many people while I was growing up. Getting to experience all these cultures and ideals at such a young age I think really had a big impact on how I look and the world and deal with people today.

What is something in life you would like to achieve?

I want to start an organization that helps provide money and supplies to underfunded and underprivileged schools/ school districts so that they can match up with their higher socioeconomic peer schools, but also have a program that trains qualified teachers on being culturally and socially aware before working in these environments so that they don’t go in with unrealistic expectations and then leave when it’s not what they thought it would be which ends up hurting the kids.

Last question how do you feel about life?

I feel like life is truly a unique adventure for everyone and at times it’s going to suck and be difficult but that’s okay because we need those moments to grow and build ourselves and to remind ourselves just how great the amazing moments in life are and just how much better life can get.
