Camcardii, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a Musician from Rhinebeck, New York. I go by the name Camcardii. My music is different, since i come from a toxic background from being depressed & feeling abandon; it taught me how to be stronger and handle things different. After a tragic friend death, it really hit me in life, but I knew he would not want me to sit around. When I make music, it takes my mindset to a different place! I want to be able to connect with my fans on a different level.
When I was going through difficult times nobody was there for me, so if I could be that person that they can turn to and escape from the dark, that’s what i want to be for my fans. That’s why I make music the way I make it. I want to step into the game different, not play follow the leader. Being the older sibling, I had to pave the way for my little brother, who always looked up to me. You can find my music on all platforms. I have a new Single about to drop called “Lose it”. It talks about how anything could draw the human mind to doing what we never thought we would. So make sure you go check it out! It’s just the beginning.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The way things happen in life, it’s crazy. I have been on the road. I removed a lot of rocks from the road, but I know there will be more very soon. I keep a heavy metal mindset to keep pushing.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Music is my passion, I’m always writing and reading books to perfect my craft. I love that I can switch my flow & bring different vibes to songs. That’s what set me apart from others because I’m never trying to go the same way, I’m always finding different ways to bring dope music to ears.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
That it’s not a time to relax or take your foot off the gas. It’s a great time to apply all pressure!
