Anette Gy: Together we have the power to make a positive impact little by little every day.

Introduce yourself and tell a bit about who you are?

Hello ! I’m Anette Gy from Hungary. I’m a half Armenian, half Hungarian. I work in the fashion industry.

What inspires you every day in life?

To be a better person than yesterday, my mom and Victoria Beckham inspires me.

What are some goals in life you’d like to accomplish?

To be absolutely free mentally and financially, and live a peaceful life with my loved ones.

What qualities describe the person you are?

open-minded, giver, loyal, generous

What were some mental struggles you faced in lie, and how did you overcome those struggles?

I used to have an eating disorder. l still struggle with it in these days as well, but I feel like it’s getting better, because i love food. In the past, there were days when I only ate a banana per day. I used to struggle with anxiety as well, because I felt like I don’t deserve love and loyalty. I was very close to give up, because I put on someone on a pedestal who was to keep destroying me more. I do not blame him for his actions, I think it is my responsibility because I didn’t have a clear understanding on myself as I do now. With time and lots of different healing technics and professional help, I got to the realization that the person who I needed to find is me. I changed inside, and everything around me followed.

What is a positive message you’d like to share with people around the world?

I had to learn in a hard way that it is our main duty to learn to accept ourselves.

Whatever it is you’re looking for, everything starts and ends with you. Do the inner work. Be proud of yourself for trying. Celebrate yourself. Everything is temporary, the only person who stays with you forever is you. Your worst days will come to an end, but so will your best ones. You only suffer if you fight the flow of life. The minute you accept that everything is temporary, it’s easier to pass through sad days and actually be present.

How would you like to make an impact in our world if you could?

I can’t change the world on my own, but together we have the power to make a positive impact little by little every day.  I would, you like to send a message to every single person with some kind words and teach them, giving back and learning how to make an impact on others provides that meaning because it makes life about something much larger than ourselves.
