Maxwell: I want to make people happy.

1. Introduce yourself(tell about yourself & who you are)

Hi, my name is Maxwell, I go by he/him pronouns, I’m a trans man from north Alabama and I’m currently 20 years old.

2. What inspires you everyday?

I can’t pinpoint one thing in particular, I think a lot of people and things inspire me in different ways. My coworkers inspire me with their amazing talent, my mom inspires me with her drive, my roommate inspires me with their courage, it’s a day by day thing.

3. What are some goals in life you are wanting to complete?

I was homeschooled my whole life and I never actually received a diploma, my current goal is to get my GED, and after that I plan to go to college for criminal psychology. Over all goals? I truly just want to inspire and uplift others.

4. What are some words of wisdom you live by everyday?

I have a coworker, her name is Berklie and she has a pretty popular TikTok account, she’s been spreading the notion that we should all “create meaningful chaos” and I think that’s the perfect example of what I want to do with my time.

5. What are your thoughts on the world today?

There’s a lot of bad in this world right now, a lot of things that are changing. But I think there’s also a lot of good if we truly put our minds to it. I think there’s a big change coming, and we need to work towards making that happen while also remembering to enjoy the simple things in life.

6. What are some struggles you went through in life and how did you overcome it?

I’ve struggled a lot with my gender dysphoria, and as a result of that I’ve also struggled with suicidal thoughts. My gender dysphoria has gotten a lot better thanks to testosterone and working together with my doctors and therapist have helped me better control and understand my mental health

7. What is one way you’d like to make an impact in the world?

I want to make people happy. That’s all. I do my best to compliment one person a day, or do something nice for someone every day. I want to be the sunshine during someone’s rainy day.
