Kevin Roberts: I strive to motivate and make an impact on peoples lives.

1. Introduce yourself(tell about yourself & who you are)

Probably one of the most difficult questions to answer. Very goal-driven and ambitious, sometimes, which is good and bad. The founder of FEELS Community that specializes in financial and business education. I strive to motivate and make an impact on peoples lives.

2. What inspires you everyday?

My past and my family inspires me every day. Knowing that I don’t want to struggle financially ever again keeps me going. I keep myself educated and want to help others be educated so that we all can have financial freedom.

3. I noticed you help people with growing financially tell more about that?

Coming from my background, there was no financial education. I took on a new project and created the Power up Community as an app and platform to teach financial and business literacy, and also create a space where people can network with one another. I feel that there’s power in numbers and there’s nothing that we cant do together.

4. What are some goals in life that you have completed or would like to complete?

Completed Goals: create an app with purpose/meaning, starting a legacy/making an impact in peoples lives, establishing a quality clothing brand called Veni Vici that’s starting to get notoriety

Future goals: gain 10k membership in the Power up community, become a well-known and respected brand in the clothing industry, become a powerful name in the financial and business world

5. What are some struggles you faced to be where you are now?

Self-doubt, and the lack of networking and connections that are at my disposable. Being human, we doubt our own capabilities, even when we have the knowledge to make our dreams come true, we just get in our heads and prevent that from happening. I suffer from the lack of resources and people in my network to help me achieve my goals. There has not been much guidance, so I’ve been struggling to figure out things on my own because people in my circle haven’t been able to achieve the financial success that I would like too.

6. What is some words of wisdom you live by everyday?

You’re the CEO of your own life. You’re in control, whether you like it or not. You are your own business and you control who you bring into your life. Sometimes you have to fire people, and depending on where you are in life you control who you surround yourself with. Everything that happens in life makes you wiser and stronger, but you can control the environment and people you choose to be at your table. Also, always educate yourself. Don’t just follow what everyone else is doing.

7. What was your childhood experience like?

Good and bad. I had love and support from both parents. Childhood opened my eyes to a lot of things, thinking we were financially set, but In actuality we were just “hood rich”. Meaning, I would get the latest video game, Jordan’s, nice clothes, but as I got older when it was time for the real things, like college, or getting a car, I noticed we weren’t financially set. My parents had eventually split up and we became a single person income household, so that’s when things got even more real for me. It made me realize that money was a whole different ball game.

8. Last question what else would you like to tell others about you?

I don’t come from the most solid foundation or have the most connections, but that doesn’t mean you can’t accomplish anything. Never let your environment dictate who you will become. Use those obstacles to become who you want to be.
