Introduce yourself(tell about yourself & who you are)

My name is Kay! I’m a 26-year-old freelance model and micro influencer. I am originally from Oregon and I recently just moved to Las Vegas, NV to be able to pursue my dreams in modeling and beyond!

What inspired you to become a model?

My mom actually. She modeled before I was even a thought, haha. She was more on a high fashion side and runway. I remember in high school I went to a casting call but I wasn’t accepted. I was also in sports, so I was busy with school and track. After I went to college and lived the student athlete life, I moved back home to Portland and I got approached by a talent agent at the end of 2019. I decided, “why not give it another go?” And I went to the casting call and BOOM! I got signed!

What are some words of wisdom you live by everyday?

Even through adversity, the good, the bad and the ugly, continue to push through, stay focused and laugh anytime you can.

What are some goals you have that you would like to complete?

I want to be able to create generational wealth for my family, not just money but also generational mentality. I want to travel the world, be able to become a sports psychologist (my dream job), and just spread the word of God and be an advocate for mental health. I want to use my growing platform for good and to spread awareness about the importance of our own mental health and our longevity as an individual

What are some struggles you faced to be in the position you are in now?

I struggle with anxiety and depression and have for a long time. A few years, I would have anxiety attacks every night. It got to the point where I was scared of the nighttime because I knew what was going to come. I am also a suicide survivor. I have also dealt with death in my family, a broken home, and losing my best friend.

What is one way you’d like to make an impact in the world?

I’d like to show the world that it’s okay to be your own person with your own hopes and dreams. You don’t need to follow trends. Make your own trend and be confident in that

Last question what else would you like to tell the world about you?

I would want the world to know is how I March to the best of my own drum. I have never strived to be anyone else but myself, and I can only thank God for that. I am always me and will remain me till I’m old and wrinkled
