Jasmine Vergara:  There are many different people in the world and I believe they all have the potential to be great.

Introduce yourself?: Hi, my name is Jasmine. I was born and raised in California and I am currently a senior in highschool.

What inspires you everyday?: There is something thing different in every day, as no two days are identical. Whether it be something new that I learned, or a drawing I saw online, I believe there’s inspiration all around if you pay attention. What ongoingly inspires me is looking at people with small businesses, amazing projects, art, and music that are really dedicated and passionate about their work.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: One thing I would change about people in the world is I’d make everyone respect each other’s viewpoints. I chose this because when 2 people have opposing viewpoints, it can often cause unnecessary conflict because little do they know, they could both be correct in end, or if they decide to respect the other viewpoint they could communicate, learn something new, and may even alter their perspective.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: There are many different people in the world and I believe they all have the potential to be great. However, some people make poor choices and decide to bring hatred and negativity into the world.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: Personally, my life has not been very hard on me and I am eternally grateful for that. I guess I could say something I have “struggled” with lack of motivation. Although I do get inspired seeing other people work towards their goal, I still have trouble creating my goals and sticking to them because I find when it comes to me actually doing it, the motivation is absent. This is definitely something I am slowly working on, and hopefully one day it will not be as prominent in my life.

What is a positive message you would give others?: I would like to tell others, as cheesy as it sounds, to be confident in yourself and do the things that you enjoy and want to do, as long as you’re not hurting anyone, do it. If people close to you try to stop you from doing something you love, then you may want to ask yourself, “Why am I keeping this person in my life if they just pull me down?”

if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that?: I have to say I don’t know exactly how I want make a difference in the world. I will just continue doing me and what I believe is right, and hopefully along the way I make a positive impact in some people’s lives whether it be big or small.
