Introduce yourself?: My name is Amarisa, and I am 17 years old from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am a senior in high school and a advocate for my community.
What inspires you everyday?: My family and the future inspire me to do better everyday.
What is something you would change about people in the world?: I wish that they would be less greedy, if money and power didn’t run the world everyone would have equal opportunities and would be happy and healthy.
How do you feel about the people in the world?: Sometimes I feel disappointed by what is going on in the world, but then I also see people working together or creating powerful movements.
What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: I’ve struggled with general confidence and trust in myself.
What is a positive message you would give others?: I would like to remind everyone to be positive and keep going no matter what negative things you see in the world. Keep doing what you gotta do to make yourself and community better!
