Introduce yourself?: My name is ZiD, I’m 17 & from Philadelphia,PA. I sing, do poetry, play guitar, produce, mix and master, & DJ.

What inspires you everyday?: The music I listen to, and the people around me. The universe inspires me daily as well.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: I would change people’s perspectives. A lot of people don’t think outside of their own personal self if that makes sense. People need more understanding & compassion towards others because unconditional love is the key of life and literally makes up everything we are.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: There’s different kinds of people . I love this planet and the people on it, even though everyone isn’t like me, I know everyone serves their own purpose and I hate nothing. We are all reflections of each other therefore at the end of the day this holographic matrix we call life is however and whatever we make it.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: In the beginning of my life I struggled with acceptance. Coming from a religious black family, it was hard to open up about who I was because of the judgement that was spewed upon me. Just like other black/colored children I faced a lot of anger and hate towards me from my family for my beliefs , who I love, and how I am.

What is a positive message you would give others?: Spread unconditional love without intention of getting it back. Just do it out of the kindness in your heart. Forgive but never forget, and listen to others with a open mind. Listen more than you speak, it’ll help you in all aspects of life.

if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that?: Through my art. All my music I make therapeutically not only for my well-being but I know someone out there will relate to it. I hope it inspires them to make their own art and create their own vision. My difference in changing the world will also be through what I say, what I do for myself , and what I do for others. It all will go towards the greator good in the long run.
