Introduce yourself?: I’m Henry, a 16 year old Chinese boy. I think of the of all actions and swim along the unpredictable and hazardous wave that is called life. I love being surrounded by people I and I accept how little and negligible I am compared to the grand vastness of the world because I truly believe existing is already a privilege.

What inspires you everyday?: Little things. Maybe a good day at school, being with my friends, having an activity. The little things that make me look forward to it make me happy. Anything that motivates me to wake up and to look forward to tommorow make me happy. That inspires my everyday.

What is something you would change about people in the world?: One thing I would change is how people see the world. Everyone sees the world in their own perspective. They are the hero, the protagonist of their own stories. The entire world revolves around them. I know that feeling too. But then you realize there are 7.5 billion stories and that there aren’t enough worlds to fit have 7.5 billion heroes. You start to accept how small human is in front of the world and if everyone has a glimpse of this, we can all act in such a way that it will benefit the common good instead of a selfish benefit.

How do you feel about the people in the world?: I feel like some people show the most genuine human compassion while others act in cold blood. Hope is not lost. But it is not there just yet. I’ve my had fill of “faith in humanity restored”, “haha-i’m ,worthless,lazy, relatable and love food posts” and those “faith in humanity lost”. We’re capable both great good and horrible sin.

What is something you’ve struggled with in life?: My body.My physique very much less than ideal. Instead of being known for who I am, I am known for my physique. I very much hated this unwanted attention.

What is a positive message you would give others?: Appreciate life and think of others. You CAN make a positive impact in the world. Everyone can. You just have to try.

if you could make a difference in the world how would you do that?: I would open their eyes to how many people in the world there are. They would see that every person is like them, they see in their perspective, trying to get the best for himself. then they realize that each life is precious and then every person could accept each other. If everyone knew how each life is precious, prejudice, stereotypes and hate would practically not exist. It’s like killing two birds with one stone.
