Brook White: Never seek validation outside of yourself.

Name: Brook White

Social Media Handle/Username: Kurpiekat

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hi I’m Brook, I grew up being homeschooled. My parents at the time didn’t really trust the education system so they homeschooled me to be a free-thinker. Which I definitely believe has worked. Almost too well. I questioned even my own parents teachings and world views. I have an extremely open mind and I try my best to be as respectful to all people, of all races, backgrounds, and their own beliefs / perception of reality. I’m constantly seeking for the truth of our own existence. I currently feel like I’m here to help heal and inspire other people while also challenging myself to be a better person in the process.

What Inspires You Every day? : How people who are extremely different from me live. I would like to have different experiences than what I’ve grown up in. My heart is always seeking adventure and growth. If I see the opportunity I take it.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: To be grateful of everything you have everyday and don’t criticize anything. I feel like it’s important to live each day with positive energy filled in your heart than focusing on the negative aspects of life.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : That’s a complicated question. I have many and yet none. What I mean by that is I’m content with my life. I don’t have much… but what I have I am grateful for. As for goals, I do want to help as many people as I can with their own journeys. To discover things they never thought possible within themselves.

What are your thoughts on people who seek attention on social media, and what message would you like to give them? : It depends on why are they seeking attention. I don’t think there is a wrong or right way to go about social media. Some people feel good about themselves and like to share that. Or perhaps they have low self esteem and need that validation from others? I don’t see an issue with it but they need to learn to love themselves… Never seek validation outside of yourself. Others do it for business and earn their coin. No problem in that. Then you have the people that try to inspire others which I find to be absolutely beautiful depending on the message they are trying to get across.

How would you help people around the world who are going through mental health problems? : Listen. Just listen to them. If they ask for advice, I would give it. But most people want to just be heard or feel like they aren’t alone in their situations. They just want someone to understand then without judgment.

How would you describe a better world for us all? : People need to seek deep within themselves and try to heal past trauma. Their hurt and pain tends to rub off on others whether they are conscious of it or not. We have all had bad experiences in our lives. If we seek to give love and compassion to others rather than project our past pain unto people the world would be a kinder place.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Always seek to be better each day. Love yourself always. If you love yourself, and forgive yourself, your life will change in a drastic way. In order to love the world, and the people in it, you must learn to love yourself first.
