Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hi! I’m Madaelyn. I’m 21 and from Del Rio, Texas, a small town on the border of the US and Mexico. I’m currently in the US Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class. I’ve been in for almost 4 years and I’ve been stationed in Norfolk Virginia and now Iwakuni Japan. I love working out and travel.
What Inspires You Every day? : This life is only lived once. Its too short to not do everything you want.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: FUCK IT. It sounds crazy but its true. You need to take this life by the horns and do everything you want. Live your truth. Be who you wanna be.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : I want to travel the world. Thats it. Every continent. Every state in the US.
What are your thoughts on people who seek attention on social media, and what message would you like to give them? : Social media is fake, all of it. That insta baddie thats super breathtaking? shes made out of facetune and faceapp. I promise 90% of it is edited and manipulated. Seeking validation on social media has a long term effect on your self esteem. Seek validation from within.
How would you help people around the world who are going through mental health problems? : The only way out is through. Keep going.
How would you describe a better world for us all? : Empathy would change the world! I truly believe that simply being kinder and more understanding towards one another would fix so many problems. Be more charitable, give back (I’m looking at you, Jeff Bezos you bastard).
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: If you take anything from me: see the world. Take that chance. say FUCK IT!
