Social Media Handle/Username: Instagram – ganavarpumilli

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I hail from Andhra Pradesh, India and I am pursuing my Post Graduation Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management from National Insurance Academy, Pune. I had done my Bachelor’s in Commerce from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Andhra Pradesh. I read novels, write poetry, make reels, blog and watch movies during my free time.

What Inspires You Every day? : Knowing that I can help bring smile on at least few faces, each day. Also, the urge to achieve something, as small as waking up early, makes me get up every day.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: The only way to be happy and win over everything in life is to spread love and happiness; doesn’t matter if you get it in return or not. The world’s already negative, try being positive.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : To be successful in whatever I do and ultimately, be happy at the end of the day.

What are your thoughts on people who seek attention on social media, and what message would you like to give them? : Attention is something which everyone craves for; be it even a little. Not only on social media, but also in real life. Few want their efforts and talents to be recognised, few want to be under the spotlight and few just want to be happy knowing that some people give them attention. Not all of us have functional families, and many people are not even cared for. Hence, they welcome the digital attention. The only message that I would like to give is that be yourself and you will be recognised. Work on yourself, for yourself; not for others. Also, don’t put yourself or others in bad light, just for attention, it’s not worth it.

How would you help people around the world who are going through mental health problems? : Many mental health problems come up because of the basic reason – they don’t have anyone to speak to. Whenever anyone discusses or even tries to discuss about their mental health with us, we shut them out, asking them to be normal. Instead, we can always choose to be listeners, without being judgemental. People go through mental traumas, but only few gather courage to speak up about it. Instead of letting them down, let us support them. The world would then be a happier place.

How would you describe a better world for us all? : A better world is somewhere, where people aren’t judged for the decisions they make, a bit more happier place and where one can talk about all their inner fears without any fear.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I am someone who has seen a lot of things at a very young age. Went through a lot of traumas, always felt older than my peers (mentally and emotionally), multiple failed relationships and still here, smiling and laughing, as if nothing ever happened. Because, hey, there’s lot to live for, and you gotta keep that fighting spirit alive to achieve something in life, as no one’s going to do that for you. There are things which can never be forgotten, but, just push them to the back of the mind and move on. Being grateful for every good thing that happens in life, helps a lot. No matter what, just stay strong. And smile.
