Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hi I’m Gabi. I’m a sophomore in high school, and I love to sing, play guitar, draw, and do out-there stuff. Some refer to me as kind of a risk taker.
What Inspires You Every day? : I wouldn’t really say anything inspires me every day. Getting out of bed and finding comfort in the things I like doing gives me a reason to keep going, even through the bad. I guess you could say trivial teenage things like watching Netflix and hanging out with friends is the closest thing I have to everyday inspiration.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: I know it’s cheesy and overused, but you only live life once. I’ve vowed at an early age that I’m not gonna have regrets when it’s my time to pass. I take every opportunity I’m given, because it’s true. You only live life once. Why waste it dwelling on stupid things that don’t even matter, or not being yourself to please others when we’re all going to be dead in 100 years? I do what makes me happy, because it’s my life and im not going to waste it.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : To be happy, and be able to find happiness when the world drags me down.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I don’t really believe the pandemic has effected me all that much. All my friends in school were all in the same boat by being quarantined from school, so I could relate to all of them. Honestly the pandemic was kind of a positive thing for me. It gave me a chance to get away from my bad boyfriend at the time, and I wasn’t as socially exhausted by having to go to school everyday.
What is a message you would like to give others? : Good and evil are subjective. And good thing can be twisted into evil, and any evil can be twisted into good. There are always 2 or more sides to every story, and people tend to forget that. Don’t be so quick to judge someone because that someone you’re judging could’ve been you.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: That I’m not afraid of anything, and that they shouldn’t be either.
