Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My names alyssa I’m 17 years old Im turning 18 on December 22 a little background about me I was put in cps at the age 7 I was
adopted by a family in Houston Texas with my little sister Halile .I was always the odd one out I was always the one to get singled out.I was going through a lot of depression around the age 12 I was sent to a mental hospital for the first time at the age 13 I was in and out finally I had enough of the stress from the adoptive family I was put into and told her I can’t do it anymore she got mad and sent me to a group home and didn’t let me see my sister I was so depressed and started cutting again finally I reached out to my bio family asking if it was possible to get me back and after 4 months I was back with my bio family my aunt adopted me and now I’m so happy I still have my ups and downs but I’m so great full for it .

What Inspires You Every day? : Something that inspires me is to not give up on something that you really want because in the end if you really try you will achieve it .

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Don’t compare yourself to no one because it only brings yourself down even more.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : To complete school and be successful in life and set a better example for my future kids 🙂

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I personally have not been affected but a close friend of mines moms passed away and it’s been tuff on her .

What is a message you would like to give others? : If you want something go for it because in the end it will be the best feeling in life to know that you did that by yourself.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Another little about me (That sometimes my smile is fake and to never assume that someone life is better because you never know what goes on behind closed doors ).
