Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I was raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, with my grandparents, uncles, aunt, siblings and a gratuitous amount of other family members. From a young age I always displayed the tell-tale signs of an introvert, only fueling my independence as I grew. In my every day life I find myself being passionate about all things creative, whether it be art, writing, music… You name it! Which is why that’s the career field that I’ve geared myself to go into. It’s been a rough journey for sure, what with some rather insane life twists (so much so that my life has often been compared to a soap opera by peers), as well as some mental health related struggles coming into play, but I find it important to try your best; keep moving forwards.

What Inspires You Every day? : Different people and their own stories can be quite resonating. Those which I can relate to, really help push me to think “I got this. We got this.”

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Although it’s definitely not the best life quote to go by, I’ve always kept some advice from my father with me: “Trust is like walking in a meadow. It’s beautiful with all the flowers passing by you, but they hide the snake sneaking in.”

What is your ultimate goal in life? : It sounds cliché, but to be successful as a director, with a family of my own, is what I’ve wanted for quite a long time.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : Honestly, my routine hasn’t changed much. Maybe it’s my introverted nature playing its cards, but staying away from people wasn’t too much of a struggle. I was lucky enough to not get sick, and not lose anyone, so for that I’m grateful.

What is a message you would like to give others? : It sounds harsh, but people aren’t thinking about you. They’re thinking about themselves. Those embarrassing memories that stress you out at two in the morning? That slip up from years ago that you’re still frustrated over? That lingering regret you keep within you? Nobody else remembers these things, that in the seventh grade you got rejected or that you tripped and fell your first day of college… And even if they do? They don’t care. So stop stressing over the past, which you can’t change! Live your life without these embarrassing thoughts holding you back.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I’ve definitely been dealt some pretty rotten cards in life, ones I won’t get too into, but despite them, I’ve still come out intact and have made a break into the film industry like I’ve always wanted. I am proof that staying strong works. Please always keep with you that you can do the same. Even if you feel like everything is hopeless, and you want to give up, don’t.
