Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hello! I’m James, a 26-year-old gamer. I enjoy video games, Horror movies, exercising, & hanging with my buddies.
What Inspires You Every day? : Mostly, my friends. I’ve made such strong bonds with a lot of them, & I wouldn’t trade that for anything else in this world. It’s rare when you can come across someone & really *click* with them. I’m thankful to have even been given the opportunity to meet them in the first place. They’ve shared some amazing memories with me, & I will always be eternally grateful for their presence.
Other than that, the motivation to strive to be a better person has always been hanging over my head. I want to show the world that there are people out there who care & would go out of their way to do good deeds & to help communities & the less fortunate. Personally, I feel like there isn’t much of that in this world, & I’d like to be part of the group that changes that for good.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?:“Never back down. Never quit.”
That mantra was used by John Cena, a current WWE superstar. When I was little, I used to wear one of his shirts that said exactly that on the back of it. One time, I wore it to school, & a teacher stopped me & commended me on it. Since then, I felt so happy, as if whoever truly believed in those words would always go beyond their limit in order to accomplish their own mission & achieve their goal.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : Ultimately, I want to be a better person. I would also like to show the world that chivalry, has in fact, not died.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : This pandemic has… Certainly taken a toll on a lot of us, & for good reason. During this tough time, we can no longer share the same type of connection that was always around before we all had to start donning masks. Personally, I’ve tried to keep the negative thoughts & feelings away from me, & I’d like to think that I’ve been doing a good job. Since the start of COVID-19, I’ve been reading & cooking a *lot* more. I feel like the more I try & practice, the more I’ll improve upon my skills. Once this nasty pandemic has been driven into the ground, I’ll continue to practice, always trying to find ways to make things a little better or even easier.
What is a message you would like to give others? : I want to tell everyone that reads this to always improve. To never give in. To always push yourself to do better. It doesn’t necessarily have to be about the things I’m interested in, but try to find something, dig deep if you have to, & work on it. No matter what it is. Always try to be better in some shape or form. We only live once. Make sure to not only leave a positive mark on this world, but inside yourself as well.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I’m also a cat lover! I’ve been around them for nearly my entire life, so I’ve come to grow a natural affection for them. I’m a huge fan of dogs as well, no question about it. I can certainly see why they’re man’s best friend. Everyone should own an animal at some point in their life. They’re capable of things that you’d never believe, such as de-stressing, or just simply being there when you need someone, anyone to comfort you.
