This business has been in operation since 2018 and provides services such as resumes, cover letters, editing/formatting, personal statements, and more. My current career path includes Nephrology Social Work. I am a graduate of Spelman College and the University of Georgia. I enjoy movies, laughing, and simply having a good time with friends/family.
What Inspires You Every day? : I am inspired by my ability to serve others and always finding the silver lining. Based on my field of work, I have had the pleasure to work with individuals of all socio-cultural, economic, religious, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. These various encounters have taught me the importance of human relationships, patience, and how to value people despite what we may see on the surface and what they may be going through.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?:Words of wisdom that I live by include: “Good and bad things will happen in life. You just have to keep living and not stress over what you can’t control.”
What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to always have the courage to stand in my truth.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : During the peak of the pandemic, I experienced a lot of anxiety as a recent graduate from my master’s program. I also tested positive for COVID-19, which honestly did not create a huge barrier for me healthwise, but it did provide an awakening to how the world is truly organized. I learned the importance of simply doing the things that truly mattered for my overall wellbeing and maintaining my boundaries.
What is a message you would like to give others? : I want others to know that they are ALWAYS enough. Your childhood trauma does not define you. Who your parents, siblings, or any other family members may be do not define you. Your trails do not define you. Your mistakes and flaws do not define you. We are all one step away from the unknown. Always keep your faith, have the intention to do right by others without force, and the rest will follow.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I am more than what meets the eye, my accomplishments, and even my failures. Never be afraid to ask questions and avoid assumptions.
