Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hi my names Dimitra, I’m 27 years old from Melbourne Australia. I was born and raised in Australia but my background is Greek.
I’m known for my outspoken personality and as some would say I’m known for having #nofilter.
I like to share the reality’s of life to inspire others to live their best life to the fullest.
What Inspires You Every day? : I think being an inspiration too even just one person not only inspires me to be a better version of myself and to keep going, but also to continue sharing my life experiences in order to help and inspire other people.
I’m a firm believer of living an authentic life and living with no regrets, and knowing that people appreciate me sharing my experiences to help them through every day life just feels my heart with so much warmth.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: I got the quote “Without struggle there is no progress” tattooed on my body as a permanent reminder that no journey in life is easy.
Life is a crazy journey, every day is different to the last and not everything goes to plan. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, quit or start again, all that matters is how many times you pick yourself up, start over and keep trying. The reason I live by these words is because nothing good in life comes easy, once you move through life achieving all your goals and ambitions you’ll realise how much commitment it takes to be the best version of you.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal is to continue bettering myself each and every day while inspiring others to do the same. I’m here to show people that life is tough and it will knock you down more times than you think, but you can get up and keep going if you really believe in yourself as a person.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : There are honestly no words to describe how this pandemic has really thrown a spanner in the mix. Lives have changed all around the world and it’s incredibly tough right now.
Honestly for me thankfully career wise it hasn’t made much of a difference other than a few little things. It’s the mental aspect that’s really affected me. I’m a social butterfly and I’m always out seeing friends and family as well as going to the gym, so this constant situation of going in and out of lockdowns is hard. This pandemic is here to stay for a while yet so I’m hoping we can get back to some sort of normality learning to deal and live with this as soon as possible.
What is a message you would like to give others? : NEVER. GIVE. UP.
Whatever you do and no matter what life throws at you, don’t ever give up on the life you want for yourself. Every time you fall stand back up, every time you want to quit think about why you started, remember there was a reason why you started and remember that you are a warrior capable of big things.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I’ve been through a lot in life just like most people but all my life experiences have lead me to making a promise to better myself , I made the decision several months ago to focus on me and begin my fitness journey. My main goal was weight loss. Since beginning my journey I’ve lost 10kg but gained so much more, I’ve gained knowledge, strength, a love for fitness and exercise and friends in the fitness industry.
I still have a long (exaggerate the long, haha) way to go but I’m so excited to continue making progress on my fitness journey. I feel better than I have in such a long time and it really inspires me to keep going, I know I’m capable of big things.
If you ever need motivation to do something for you remember, The best project you’ll ever work on is you.
