Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is Artur, I’m 20 and from João Pessoa, Paraìba, Brazil. I’m currently studying Renewable Energy Engineering in UFPB but, my plan is to not finish college and work with digital marketing or something around that lane. I live with my mom and dad, I’m a single child. I love sports, watching and playing them, videogames and music in a lot of different genres. I did an Exchange Student Program to Gilbertsville, Kentucky in 2017-2018, where I was hosted by an amazing family.

What Inspires You Every day? : To always live a better life, specially with my friends and parents, who are the people I hope to have by my side for a long time. Also getting rich and being able to go anywhere in the world and explore as much as possible.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Always look at things from the most positive side but always be ready for the worst to happen.
Never be in your comfort zone.
Never work with something I hate or when I desire to work with something else.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : Being happy and proud of what I did throughout my whole life, and have my friends with me.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The start of the pandemic was not that good cause I didn’t do much and I was with my ex at that time so we would just be at my house or hers doing nothing. So that led to a sedentary lifestyle and I put on a lot of weight. And I grew apart from some friends which sucked. But by October 2020, after me and my ex broke up, I started to live a healthier lifrstyle, started to read, workout and seeing my friends back again, and now in almost August 2021, I’m as happy as ever and healthier as ever. So I guess I figured out how to do better during the pandemic on my own.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Never stop trying to do what you want, and to chase whatever you want to accomplish in the end.
Don’t give up after you fail, learn from your failures so when you do succeed, you’ll always know why and will be able to help other succeed as well. Never forget to always share your knowledge, you might be an inspiration to so many people. Never let other people’s ideals guide you on life, live by your own ideals, as simples as they might be. That’s one of the things I’m more proud in my life, is to live by my beliefs.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I just think I’m a person who only wishes to be happy and there’s nothing better to me, than being happy and proud of what I did at the end of each day, and to be having fun with my friends.
