Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I am a 22 year college student and part-timer living in the Richmond, Virginia area living with my parents. I enjoy all things’ basketball, my favorite team is the Chicago Bulls, but my favorite player is Lebron. I also like to play video games specifically FPS games sports games and sometimes fighting games.

What Inspires You Every day? : What inspires me is kind of a tricky answer for me to answer. in that partly my anxiety and my previous choices concern me that I may repeat them but also my recent gain in confidence that overpowers those negative thoughts of myself drives me to want to not stop and keep improving on myself and reach my eventual goal. These days though it’s more of me noticing how far I’ve came these past 2 years so everytime I’m down on myself I just think “this isn’t my peak, I got to keep going”.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Something I’ve come up with recently is just being an extreme narcissist coupled with extreme amount of self awareness. Telling myself “you know you are better so go be better” little things like that adds oil to my own fire while my usual self is a critic and keeps me level.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : I don’t have one and honestly I think I’m in the perfect position for where I’m at right now. I’ve always been nonchalant with my future and my present while getting mad at my past but my mental has never been better. So as long as I keep my mind clear and focus on my next 2 to 5 years I think I’ll either be on the way or even past my own goals and expectations.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : Thankfully I didn’t lose anyone in my family to covid but honestly the pandemic was sort of a blessing for me. It allowed me to reset for a year, think about what I want to do, what I want to accomplish, what do I enjoy the most and how I can continue to do what I enjoy as a livelihood. So it’s been good for me, especially since I didn’t catch covid either and I’m hoping the streak continues.

What is a message you would like to give others? : You’re never going to think your ready or prepared but that doesn’t matter. If you freeze when given a sudden chance you lose the opportunity to see what you had in you all along.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I got 2 really good friends that I’ve known since sophomore year highschool and we all speak to each other every other day so I hope we stay together for life. We don’t rely on each other for anything except laughs and to play park with on 2k. They’re my guys for life and I hope it stays that way. I know they feel the same, but there’s no way they hearing that from me and I know they won’t say it either.
