Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m a United States Air Force veteran of 10 years. I worked on the avionics systems in the F-16 Fighting Falcon, with multiple deployments overseas. After a medical discharge, I moved back to New York and got into podcasting, following in the footsteps of Kevin Smith (As I’ve loved his work since Clerks). Since then I was lucky enough to join The MR BS Show, and then create a new show, BFYTW (www.BFYTWpodcast.com). This new show was a passion of ours to record with our friends and just have fun. Then it became bigger. We started our own network, partnering seven unique shows, creating OddPods Media Network.

Now as a podcasting veteran with PTSD, I spend most of my time either podcasting, partaking in podcasts, playing FPS games, and partaking in my medical marijuana, while spreading some positivity.

What Inspires You Every day? : I think what most inspires me are my friends. My friends are my family…not to say I don’t have a great family, they are amazing as well, I just treat my closest friends as family. As with anything surrounding you, inspiration comes from your environment. I naturally feel amazing when I see others happy. So when there is an opportunity to make someone happy, smile, or laugh I’m going to take that shot…especially if it’s one of my friends. You never know how one positive remark, one smile, or a joke can change a person’s day.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Do What’s Best For You.

-These are the words my father has always told me. He always wanted the best for me, but he wanted to make sure that I was happy getting there. No matter my job, whom I was seeing, or where I was…as long as I was doing what was best for me, I know I couldn’t be wrong.

Why Not?
-As simple as these words are, not many people follow them. Why Not write that story that’s been in the back of your mind that last year? Why Not start selling your amazing crafts to people online? Why Not get together with some friends and start a podcast?
Two Simple words…..Why Not?

What is your ultimate goal in life? : This is a really difficult question. I mean most people would say to never work again, or just simply, to be happy.

Yes we all want to be happy, but my ultimate goal would be to keep on hanging out with my friends making ridiculous content. To make this my “job” would be wonderful, imagine five days a week with your friends, just talking and having fun. Yeah, that sounds pretty sweet to me.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : Personally my main job didn’t change too much for me during the pandemic. I am a field technician as my primary employment, so I travel from site to site repairing equipment.
What really did change for me is the lack of gatherings with my friends. After so much time together each week, having such a large span in between seeing each other was horrible. Luckily we have the technology to ease most of us. With podcasting we were able to still get together each week via Audio or Video. With multiplayer games and Tabletop Simulator we were able to even play board games.
As the Pandemic hindered us, it could never truly keep us away from each other.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Try to be just a little more positive each day. I’m not saying pretend to be happy all the time, that’s counterproductive. But give someone a compliment, tweet something inspirational, hell…buy someone a coffee in the drive-through.
You have no idea the impact that any of these could have on someone’s day. You could be the reason that someone’s day is Amazing.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Just try to be good to each other, do something positive, and enjoy life.
