What Inspires You Every day? : My internal desire to changes lives, to utilize the many skills & talents that I’m blessed with to make a difference. Living in Saint Louis MO and being a coach/trainer comes with a lot of responsibility to help mold these young people who are often distracted with so many negative influences. The opportunity to watch a young person learn new skills, improve their character and have a space to be themselves while decompressing from their walks of life is worth while!
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Believe the process, fall in love with the details and the journey to the destination.
Nobody cares, Grind Harder. Everyone got a sad story, what will you do with yours?
Give it all you got because that’s all you got to give, your life is on the line everyday.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : I desire to run top tier training facilities & Rec Centers in 3-4 cities that need to provide state of the art equipment and training to individuals who have the desire to become better in life. My training comes with life coaching and mentorship. Clients of mine have become trainers & entrepreneurs themselves from the love and wisdom I’ve poured into them. I want to impact different communities by providing lifestyle training, mentorship and financial Literacy through my foundation.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The pandemic through a wrench in my business model last year, which led to a lot of adjustments that taught me so much about myself and those around me. I suffered from slight depression during the pandemic which led me to getting therapy, began doing yoga, got serious about self care time and balancing everything I have going on so I could be a better coach for my players, members, staff and a better person for my family & friends.
What is a message you would like to give others? : This journey we call life has so many twists and turns that WILL COME NO MATTER, it’s all about how prepared you are with your care plan for yourself when things shift. The best thing to do is to hope for the best and plan for the worst just in case. Regardless of what occurs go for your dream, utilize your skills to build the steps to accomplish that dream. GRIND GRIND GRIND, it won’t come over night you must be willing to put in time and sweat equity!
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Even though my life is center around helping others through wellness & athletics, I am a true lover of music and food. I sang in Concert Choir in college, my dad is a chef and teaches my family all sorts of dishes. I grew up in church ushering, playing the drums and singing in the choir. I write poetry and enjoy live band performances when I find free time.
