Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Who am I. I always find this to be the hardest part of any introduction. My name is Ariel Rogers, I am currently a Human Resources Supervisor. Also, I am currently in school for Elementary Education. In my spare time I love to dance, tumble, spend time with family, engage in community service activities, tutor, go skating, and last but not least mentoring.
What Inspires You Every day? : One of the things that inspires me everyday is not only my family, but knowing that I have a purpose in life. Purpose has always driven me to keep going and understanding that my purpose in life, is a catalyst for those to come so I have to pave the way and do my part.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “Walk by faith and not by sight” is something I live by daily. We don’t always see what life has in store for us, yet we have to believe that something good is to come. Sometimes things don’t go our way, and that’s okay. It’s only a temporary set back, that was set up, for the perfect comeback.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to leave a mark that causes others to achieve more than I ever could. Of course, I plan on starting a charter school in my community, starting a scholarship (Which is currently in the works), and experiencing financial freedom. I want everyone to be successful in life so I have to do my part to ensure of that.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The start of the pandemic was extremely trying for me. I lost my job for a few months and I was paying for school out of pocket, so I had to find another job for the time being. Of course, I returned to work around June of 2020, but it was extremely different. We had to take extra precautions and work on different shifts.
What is a message you would like to give others? : If I could give others a message it would be to “Keep Going.” Life isn’t always going to be easy, but everyday isn’t the same. Tomorrow might just be the day you get the job of your dreams, the house you’ve always wanted, the one million dollars you’ve asked for, etc. Never count out tomorrow, for it has treasures no man can tell you of, but that you have to discover.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: N/A
