Aaron Jackson: Be yourself. Don’t worry so much about being somebody people will adore and love.

Name: Aaron Jackson

Social Media Handle/Username: Offical_ajack

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hey! My name is Aaron! I am 21 years old and I’m from southern Indiana. There are a few things you should know about me; first, I am a songwriter, producer, and engineer who produces rap music, and I have been creating my own songs since I was 13 years old. I love music and the way that music can inspire the body and mind to strive for something larger than life itself.
The second thing that you should know about me, is that I was born with a very rare “disease” (I prefer the word syndrome), called “Poland Syndrome”. Basically due to difficulties during my mother’s pregnancy, I lost blood flow to the artery by the collar bone of my body. Because of this, I was born without any of my right chest muscles (pectoralis major and minor, plus other muscles in my right arm). This is very important to who I am and has been a large factor in making me, ME.

What Inspires You Every day? : Everyday I am inspired by the kindness of others around me and by the perseverance of those who have succeeded, even when they start out with little to nothing. I’m inspired by my father, who has had three heart attacks and still gives 100% of himself every day to take care of his family. I never grew up wanting to be just like my dad, but I was inspired to translate his hard work and his immense amount of patience into my everyday life and the things I want to accomplish.
Lastly, I am inspired by yeshua and my faith in God to be better than I was before; To wake up every morning and be a servant to the people around me, To give what i am given, and to gladly rejoice in the things I have been blessed with.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:20-22

What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to tour the world and create music that inspires hope and a better generation to come. I want to be able to say that I gave somebody something more than a product. I’ve never really cared about success in the world’s eyes. I never wanted to be rich, or have the prettiest girlfriend. I’m much more concerned about the well-being of those who are here and those who are yet to come. This world is a dark place for some, and so my goal in life is to be able to be a light wherever I go. Whether that means shedding truth on a matter to help another person or whether it means just being there to hold the hand of a brother or a sister of mine (yes we all fam to me

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’ve been doing pretty well during the pandemic. I am a very introverted person so it hasn’t been all bad. I’ve actually enjoyed not having to tend to the usual responsibilities of going out with friends or doing other things in public. I’ve been extremely blessed during this time with a job and a roof to live under. To me, things couldn’t get better!

What is a message you would like to give others? : Be yourself. Don’t worry so much about being somebody people will adore and love. You are ENOUGH. And you are you. Love people to the full extent, never hold grudges, and always, ALWAYS bless others with what you’ve been given. A little goes a long way!

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I enjoy reading a lot, especially sci-fi and fantasy and my favorite book ever is “the book thief” by Markus zusak! If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend this book. Other than that, I enjoy art, being outside in nature, and I love spiders!!!
