Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I am a humanitarian at heart that genuinely wants to see everyone flourish in life. I hate to see suffering of any kind for any being. This includes animals and that is why I am a proud vegan for over a year now. I am also a mother, a spiritual being, lover of the performing arts, appreciator of culture and diversity, admirer of nature and the beauty of life itself. I play with astrology and am at my happiest when I’m dancing or on the beach with my toes in the sand.
What Inspires You Every day? : The knowledge that I am making a difference each day even if the difference isn’t immediately apparent. Each ripple becomes a wave and each drop in the ocean matters. I know that I am contributing to a better world for future generations.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Be present in the moment and accept it as if you’d chosen it yourself. Be thankful and grateful for everything. Truly experience each moment without labeling it. Lastly, forgive yourself and forgive others.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : To remain present in the moment at all times. To no longer identify with ego. To use my mind as a tool and not let it use me. For my footprint on this earth to be a positive one. To exude love and kindness.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The beginning went quite well as I’m a person who enjoys the comfort of my home quite a bit. Eventually I became eager to get back to normalcy but overall it hasn’t been nearly as difficult on me as it has for so many others and for that I am eternally grateful.
What is a message you would like to give others? : The only moment that matters is the present moment. The past are memories, the future is your imagination. Experience the here and now as much as you can and always show gratitude, kindness and love for all beings.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: As Rafiki from The Lion King says, “It doesn’t matter, it’s in the past!”
