Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hey, Hi, Hello

My name is Leah – a storyteller and screenwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up on the East Coast and became a West Coast transplant right after college. Since then, I’ve been working everyday, little by little, to work and grow in the entertainment industry.

What Inspires You Every day? : Relationships with my loved ones. Having people in my life, who will love me no matter what, pushes me to take risks and try new things.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Be humble, be hardworking, be human. No one should aspire for perfection – because perfection isn’t attainable. Appreciate the flaws alongside the strengths in your life because it’s what makes you – you.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : Live a life I’m proud of. One that inspires others to work in industries that make them happy.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’ve tried to work on my craft and take advantage of the quarantine time. I’ve kept in close contact with friends via technology and hope that this year of pause will inspire years of activity ahead. Going to more events, friend outings, and travel. I’m a homebody, but after a year of being mandatory homebody, I realized that there is so much more to life than relaxing in bed after the pandemic.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Know/find out what makes you happy and then ask yourself how you can do that for the rest of your life.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I love this quote from my favorite comedian, Conan O’Brien. It’s helped push me and ground me.

“Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.”
