Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Georgia native, currently in the Atlanta metro area, but I spent a lot of time on the west coast, Oregon and Washington area in my life as well. Consider myself a Jack of all trades but that’s probably because I haven’t found an industry to settle into yet – I’ve been in the legal field, food service, real estate, the beauty industry, you name it. I’m currently in management. When I was younger adult I was working in independent modeling but ended up letting relatives around me talk me into leaving that because to them there was no stability and they were super concerned about whether or not I had health insurance – I really regret allowing them to convince me because from everything I’ve done it’s the thing I enjoyed the most, did the longest by years, and found to be the most lucrative. Especially since a majority of the “traditional” jobs I’ve held didn’t have health insurance either. Every time my boss gets on my case I grumble to myself about when I was my own boss – I’m considering returning but I also worry I may be too old for it now.

What Inspires You Every day? : Hope and a positive outlook – especially now so far into the pandemic. I never, ever thought in my life I would live through something like this. People have to keep hope and keep going – no matter what it is, it will get better with time! For all of us!

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: You have to do it yourself, no one else is going to come along and do it for you.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : Happiness – peace – enjoyment. The best for everyone. I know it sounds silly but I do legitimately hope for world peace and happiness for everyone.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’m blessed to have been well, it’s been okay, just had to adjust to life changes at the start. I wasn’t really bothered the first twelve months or so but now I hate it, I’m ready for it to pass, it’s getting more difficult to look for the silver lining but I know it will be okay eventually.

What is a message you would like to give others? : You have the strength inside of you to achieve your dreams, whatever those dreams may be. Don’t let the world and society and even yourself convince you that you are not worthy or that you can’t accomplish what you want to do.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I don’t know – I feel like I’ve covered it all pretty well.
