Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m 19 years old. I’m a first-generation American from an immigrant family. I’m been living in Virginia almost my entire life. If you can tell from my usernames I think you know how I feel about myself.
What Inspires You Every day? : Just life, man I always wanted a better life for myself and not just for myself but also the people around me like my family, friends, and try to do good-by others who aren’t as lucky as I’ve been.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Everything in life is possible if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise and work with others. The worst enemy to creativity or life in general is self-doubt and fear.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : To be a writer or have a role in the entertainment industry. Whether that means being a creator on sites like YouTube or Twitch which I’m doing the former. Working on Independence movies any chance to help write for shows no matter how big or how small. Ever since I was a kid I always liked to entertain people and I hope I can have a career doing just that and if not I’m a great cook so that’s a good career to fall back on that or real estate if I’m being honest here.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’ve been one of the luckier ones when surviving this pandemic. I followed all the guidelines I wear my mask even though it sometimes made me accidentally fog up my glasses that annoying but not a big deal. Covid-19 affected me on a personal level this pandemic started during my last year of high school my senior year. During your senior year you’re supposed to have fun with your friends, go to your prom have a big graduation ceremony, and get ready to go into the next stage of your life hoping you are prepared enough. We can all say that we weren’t prepared for what was in store for us when this virus came this is stuff you would read or watch or play in various types of media and you never expect this to happen to you and that’s not even mentioning all the political stuff that went down this year. You know it really hits me when I got my diploma when I was in my car. Even with all of that I feel like I became much more stronger as a person now.
What is a message you would like to give others? : Don’t let fear or self-doubt form a prison around you and try to know what your support system is be it friends or family and know that there are people in your corner even from places you don’t expect.
What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I don’t let fear or self-doubt or who I am or where I came from determine what I’m going to do with my life because only I can say what I can and cannot do. While at the same time I’m not going to pretend I know everything cuz I’m still learning we all are
