Name: Brynn Wood

Social Media Handle/Username: itsbrynnashley (instagram)

Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hi!! my name is brynn i am a highschool student in colorado. I grew up loving to play music and messing around with artistic stuff. I am in the middle of writing a book and am hoping to get it released soon.

What Inspires You Every day? : Back in 2017 ish one of my close friends passed away in a mudslide in california, she loved everything artistic and musical. I have continued to paint and do the things I love to keep her wishes of me doing so alive.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: I know this probably sounds SUPER corny but just “be yourself”. I’ve always struggled with my identity and accepting myself the way that I am, but i am coming to the point where I am okay with where i’m at. I was obsessed with ferris bueller as a kid so also “life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once and a while, you could miss it.”

What is your ultimate goal in life? : I want to live life to the absolute fullest. I love to travel so I really want to go to every place I possibly can. Life is short, and we all have to make the most of it.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I am a very introverted person so being alone hasn’t been too difficult. I don’t have many friends but if I do they are across the country. I think not being able to travel is the hardest part because it’s a way that I can feel a bit at peace.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Don’t let other people’s vision of you change the way you see yourself. If you live your life trying to be someone else you won’t live it the way you truly want to.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: As an lgbt teenager i’ve gotten bullied and pushed around a lot, people tend to see right past me when I walk into a room. Feeling invisible can be awful, but you have to be able to find the people who will see you for you. I still have yet to find my people but when I do i will be really happy.
