Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m Terrain but my artist name is “ComeUp Terrain”. I currently make music just for my pleasure. But I also do it to help others who like to hear it as like a coping method. I’m born and raised in Miami, Florida. The real Dade County 305. I’m in highschool right now so I’m making music and a full time student.

What Inspires You Every day? : What really inspires me every day is being a underdog. My whole life I’ve been looked down upon. Ranging from my peers, strangers, even my own family. It’s a flame in my heart to be great. It doesn’t matter at what as long as I’m great at something. I’m gonna be great no matter what it takes.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “Live life with no fears”
I’m a real calm and unproblematic person. But some see it as boring or not having fun. I always stay in and one of my friends of mines Da’Niya (God bless her beautiful soul). She always was saying how I need to loosen up and go out more. She definitely lived life with no fears before she left. She was a beautiful Angel, honestly. And ever since she left I’ve realized she’s right. Because once you’re gone, you’re gone for good.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to be successful. If it’s anything imma be it’s gonna be successful. I got a lot to lose. A lot of people are depending on me to be great in life.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’ve been rocky but mostly nothing new. I’m used to be isolated. Even at parties I may seem like I’m there but mentally I’m not. I got a lot on these shoulders of mine. So this pandemic just helped me get more alone time. I’m not sure if it’s been positive or negative but it’s been something. If it wasn’t for this pandemic I probably wouldn’t start to make music.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Always be you. Don’t try to be anyone else. You ain’t gotta be the toughest, the smartest, the cutest or the most dangerous dude from the block. You ain’t gotta be no one but yourself. Being yourself is the only way you’ll have a genuine life. Being yourself is what distinguishes you from others. If you can’t even do that then you’ll never truly live.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I think they should know how real I am. Many take it for being rude or I’m an asshole. I don’t mean to be but I just say what I think. Or if I laugh something off it’s not because I’m not taking it serious. I just laugh things off because stress isn’t good. But don’t be scared to say something to me ever. As long as the respect with me is there I’ll forever have some for you. I’m not one of those stuck up dudes who think he all that. I’m just Terrain. The same kid from Miami Gardens. Nothing’s change and it never will.
