Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m an 18 year old living in London aiming to go to university to study Quantity Surveying in September.
What Inspires You Every day? : I think what inspires me is having people in my family who have achieved excellence in the way I want to achieve, so it drives me to be as good as them and follow in my footsteps. Keeping close to family and friends is always good because there will always be that positive whisper in your ear cheering you on in even that darkest times.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: A quote i will never forget is “Hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard.” To me that is the best piece of advice i’ve received as it’s so eye opening and once you hear it something in your mind clicks and you’re in a point of awe to the reality of the quote.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : Success. Plain and simple, however that may be. For me i believe it’s living a good life while always competing with myself to become a better person. I would like to achieve sporting excellence and play rugby to the highest level and with that comes maximum effort and commitment. This has been a dream of mine since i was about 5 and as years go by im seeing the chance get bigger and bigger but have to keep working to my best until greatness is achieved.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : Luckily the pandemic hasn’t affected me as negatively as other people but it has made me realise that everyone takes things differently and that people would’ve have struggled hugely with the previous year.
What is a positive message you would like to give others? : Something i truely believe in is “everything happens for a reason” and it’s so true. There’s a plan for every single one of us and you may feel like your veering off route and taking a turn for the worst but it takes effort and trust to become the person you want to be.
What questions would you like to ask others?: A simple question, do you truly believe in yourself? Take it how you want it but if the answer is no, the mindset has to change and become positive. If you’re feeding yourself negative thoughts it will reflect in the outcome.
