Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: Hello! I’m vivi, I’m 20 years old and I live in Memphis. I’m a traditional artist and just recently went digital.

What Inspires You Every day? : I have a dream to one day be able to say that I worked hard and made something of myself. I want to be the first person in my family to be my own boss.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Just do it. I’m a firm believer that if you have something you want you should go for it. Sure, you might not get it the first time or the second but you won’t get it at all if you don’t put yourself out there.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : I want to start a business and inspire young black girls to go after dreams that may feel so out of reach.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : Mentally I’ve felt defeated in the beginning but as time went on I became grateful because not only did this lock down make me think about financial moves it allowed me to spend much needed time with family.

What is a positive message you would like to give others? : There’s only one of you in this world. There is only one person who can take away your dreams and aspirations and there is only one person who can make you the better version of yourself you can be. So if you feel like nobody believes in you or even if family and friends try to Bring you down, just know that you have one life to live. The decisions made over that life are yours to make, nobody else’s.
