Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is Dakota I am 27years old and have been living in Japan since I was 9years old.a lot of you are probably wondering what I do for a living in Japan and the answer is I do piping such as water lines gas and sewer almost any kind of pipes there are.I have been doing this job since I was 17 and on my 10year.now I am doing piping by freelance and have got my prefecture license or should say license I can use anywhere in Japan to prove I am a professional.

What Inspires You Every day? : Well my freakin mind always inspires me I could say.like I said I am my own boss and I alway day dream of making my company bigger.working in Japan as a foreigner is pretty hard but I always love the challenge and always tell myself I am the best and can beat anyone in competition.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “Don’t wish for it just do it” I like these words so much I even have a tattoo of such words.there is so much in the world that we can do or get but most people just end there wishing that there wish’s will come to them but the world isn’t made a unicorns and sunshine.there is no easy way to success and there is no easy way to keep sitting in the chair of success either.if you want it then go grind!!

What is your ultimate goal in life? : To be real.there is no goal.I mean it’s a never ending story a game that just keeps going on.yeah there are checkpoints in live like getting rich and driving a Lamborghini but I just get bored to easy even if I do get a Lamborghini I know there will just be another goal and another and another haha.but if I had to say at least one goal then that would to be able to go on a vacation when my kids get around 20or so and go around the world with no worries of money.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I would have to say I was kind of luck in this pandemic.I live in a prefecture called Fukui and it is kinda country side of Japan so there really was not many cases of corona around here and a lot of the pipeline company’s are fond of my work so even though they were hard times I did have slot of work to do

What is a positive message you would like to give others? : I don’t know how to inspire people to do stuff but look,I’m 27 and live in Japan and have my own company and I mean that pretty amazing it self that someone like me could be doing this in a foreign country.and that is the point! Anyone can be like me! Go wherever you want! Being my own boss is the best thing that happened in my life so all of you who have dreams or the ambition then do it!! Don’t wish for it just do it!!!
