Introduce Yourself: My name is Jalynn Brown, and I am 18 years old. I currently live in Kansas City.

Thoughts On People In The World?: My thoughts on people in this world is very complex and simple at the same time and can be long winded. I think that all people have amazing abilities and our parents and grandparents play a HUGE role in our lives. As I said my thoughts on people are kind of a lot.

What are your inspirations & goals?: For as long as I can remember music has been there so I really want to make music and go on tour. I also want to make movies and tv shows I am very obsessed with the process of making those things. The things I want to do are endless and I believe this world kinda makes you think school is the end all be all when really it’s not. Our society makes us think we need to follow to be okay and everything we do like going to school was meant to make us stay in a line single file and I say fuck all of that.

How would you impact the world?: I would like to impact the world by showing kids and adults anyone really that you don’t need to follow along you don’t have to play this game of push and pull. I want to show that life is on some other shit to be honest.

Struggles In Life? : I’ve gone through a few huge traumas in my life and I am working through them kinda alone. Also I am someone with a good family and I’ve been taught at a very young age to be respectful, TRUTHFUL, and loving my struggle when it comes to my core which are those 3 things I mentioned is meeting people that do not understand it’s hard for me to make or keep friends and even be around some family memebers. I refuse to not be aware and to not speak the truth or be real an for full of love. I refuse to play dumb and act like I don’t see shit just because you want to do that.

How do you feel about yourself? Any changes you would make? : I love myself I am so happy and thankful I am the way I am. I would like to change (which I am currently working on) is having intimacy with people. I think parents shouldn’t leave it to a school or church to teach kids about sex and I think parents should also take the time to be real and intimate with their children so they aren’t confused or shy when they’re 30.

What does love mean to you?: Love means a lot to me, it’s so much more than big hearts and kisses it is an action. It is being there, it is understanding, it is making time it’s a lot of things. I think if we all genuinely lived by love we’d be on some really different higher way of living.
