Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m Hamaada, I’m 19 years old and my greatest passion is to help those around me. It doesn’t have to be something major as long as the person has a smile on their face. Knowing it was me who out it there brings me the greatest joy and contentment.
What Inspires You Every day? : I try to draw inspiration from the people around me so that I can be more gracious. Just noticing the little things that people do to make things easier for the next person inspires me to be better than I was yesterday and always to always aspire to be the best version of myself.
What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “Life is only precious because it ends.” It reminds me that I only have one shot at my life and that I should make it count. When people think of me, I want them to feel happy that they met me and inspired to be better versions of themselves.
What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal is to make myself proud. I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and see a woman who is happy, successful and wholesome. I want to see a woman who helps people grow and blossom into the most beautiful on this earth. I want to be able to say that I haven’t wasted my time.
How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The pandemic only really affected me during the lockdown period. It was really difficult for me to keep up with my school work which was already tough as I’m in my final year. Also, my social anxiety became noticably worse when the lockdown period was lifted. It was so difficult for me to interact with my own friends let alone being at school. I was so scared all the time and having anxiety disorder wasn’t helping matters either.
What is a positive message you would like to give others? : I would say, never rest until your best is better than your last best. If you only do what you are comfortable with, you’ll never do something amazing.
What questions would you like to ask others?: Of there is one thing that has always kept you going through all your ups and downs, what is it?
