My name is Kal Schimmers, I’m a 16 year old student and musician from Appleton Wisconsin

What inspires you to do music?

I have grown up surrounded by great musicians, such as my father who has played guitar his whole life. I love the rush and feeling of playing for other people and knowing that I can make them smile just by me doing what I love

What is some words of wisdom you live by?

Everyone is “weird” in their own way. Don’t hide it, embrace it. It’s what makes you you I was the weird kid because of music and now they wanna switch up real quick

What is your ultimate goal in life?

My main dream/goal is to be a musician and travel around and play shows. Wanna be known

What is a positive message you would like to give others?

Don’t let others alter your dreams. Find the people who help them come true

Last question how do you feel about life and what changes did you make to be where you are now?

Life is full of stressors and I learned to put them aside and focus on music. I look at life in a different way now so I can focus on my dream
