Introduce Yourself: Hello, my name is Grace Elizabeth Estrella. I’m fourteen and i’m Dominican and Puerto Rican and i grew up in the Bronx.

Thoughts On People In The World?: I feel like the world is a really messed up place. As hard as we try there would never truly be peace. Personally, we as young people have to try to shape the world as much as we can. One day maybe, just maybe the world can see no colour or no gender. But we have to work for that.

What are your inspirations & goals?: I want to become a forensic scientist, and when I die, I want people to remember my name.

How would you impact the world?: I want to impact the world is such a way that i can inspire others to follow. I would like to speak for others. One pain thing i’m very passionate about it immigrantion polices. i hate the fact that us immigrants and viewed as less than human and i would like to change that one day.

Struggles In Life? : Recently my brother got locked up and i’ve been dealing alone. my mother was never in the picture and i haven’t seen her in five years, and i’m only fourteen. i’ve been trying to stay strong but it hurts sometimes. dealing with this alone.

How do you feel about yourself? Any changes you would make? : I don’t like many things about myself, my body face not much really. but i would never go under the knife for cosmetics. i’ll just try my best, but i would change my tummy, and thighs. make them smaller.

What does love mean to you?: Love is something that you’ll always feel. whether it’s a significant other or a parent, it’s a feeling that’s so consuming. you think about this person and you love them. there would always be different types of love. some can be stronger than others.
