Introduction
My name is Marcus Perry, formally know as Marcus Arealius-mainly Arealius, short for Arealius the Great. I am an upcoming rapper and entrepreneur with a message, and I stand for something solid: Loyalty and Respect-three foundations of my team I’m forming. I’m 19 years young from Detroit Michigan’s West Side, just waiting on my chance at the spotlight. I have the projects out so far: one being my first ever ep; “Who am I,” my second project which is my single; “Wassup Witcha,” and my latest release, “The Champion,” a 2 track ep about my upbringing as a musician.
What inspires you everyday?
The idea of me getting my family out of poverty, being able to produce my music without worrying where the money to do it is gonna come from, and being able to do what I love for a living with no regrets
What is your ultimate goal in life?
My ultimate goal in life is to do what it is that I love to do, and get paid for it. I want to be able to live freely with NO regrets. My ultimate goal is to make a change in the world, whether it be small, or large, I want to be successful have an impact forever.
How do you feel about the people in our world today?
I feel that we are in trouble times where a lot of people are in shock, and for the most part, for the past decade at the least, we are in a “follower” society where people are easily influenced by other ppl and/or their actions for the sole fact that they see that other people are doing the things they’re doing.
Last question how do you feel about life and what changes did you make to be where you are now?
I feel that life is everything that you make it, whether you were dealt a fucked up hand or you had a cake walk-you can do anything. You just have to stay disciplined and keep your foundation and motivation. And 3 big changes I made to my life to get to where I am now, are cutting ties with certain people/crowds to stay focused, I got out of my comfort zone to connect and network with more people, and I just straight up threw myself out there. And asked questions later, holding myself accountable.
